Celebrating the 10th year of MusicOz in Australia, MOJADA were recently announced as winners of the coveted ‘Rock’ Artist of the Year award, after being nominated as Top 5 finalists in both the ‘Rock’ and ‘Dance’ categories.
Joining winners, Art vs Science, Jack Carty and Dallas Fresca, MOJADA are shaping up as a contender to be the next Independent Australian act to break through to the national and international music scene.
The nominations in both the ‘Rock’ & ‘Dance’ categories were welcome news and indicative of the ‘new sound’ of their Debut Record which has been 3 years in the making

The win has topped an impressive start to 2010 after MOJADA’s ‘Find A Way’ became the #1 most added track to Commercial Radio (A/C) and #6 overall in February, thanks to the ‘New Artists to Radio’ Competition.
The track then went on to spend 5 weeks on the (A.I.R) Top 20 Independent radio spins chart, while the Music Video was added to both Pay TV and Free to Air Music channels.
Since arriving back from the USA at the start of 2009 with some fresh mixes, MOJADA capped off their most successful year to date ahead of their Debut Studio Album release set for later in 2010.
After landing sync deals for 2 of the tracks from their US mixed April release, EP ‘Exactly’ a 3rd track went on to win the 2009 New Artists to Radio Competition.
MOJADA’s debut studio album, which is currently in the final stages of mixing after 2 years in production including multiple trips to the USA to work with Platinum selling, Grammy winning producers to find their unique sound with a new blend of Funk, Rock and Electro Indie Pop.
